Let’s face it, with the sad news about all the restaurants closing in @greensborocity, it’s refreshing to help a ‘North Carolina Grown/ North Carolina Owned’ business celebrate a milestone . . . and that’s exactly what many did on Saturday July 30th at Hamburger Square (corner of McGee and Elm Streets) in downtown Greensboro.
7 years in at the Jones Wholesale Grocers building (circa 1895), they are sure to take their place in American Craft Beer history with 12 styles of Natty Greene’s handcrafted beers. These are available every day on tap in many of your favorite restaurants across the great state of NC.
To keep up with the growing demand, Chris and Kayne opened up a second Natty Greene’s location in downtown Raleigh in March 2010. You may know it as the the Powerhouse Square. Fitting location don’t you think?
So if you are out and about in North Carolina – ask your server if they serve Natty Greene’s on tap. . . and while your at it . . . Brush up on your Greeneboro history and enjoy a Guildford Golden for me!
So, what’s you favorite Natty’s beer?
